As Regina citizens, we tend to complain about the length of our winters. While it is true the -40 below weather can be somewhat challenging at times. The one thing that makes up for the cold of those long winter months is the beautiful grasslands summer one enjoys in Saskatchewan, and in Regina in particular.When Canada Day (on July 1st) turns out to be a beautiful sunny day, people congregate on the shore of Wascana Lake to make the best of our holiday. The photos below give a glimpse of what it was like in Wascana Centre on Canada Day this summer.
